Norm Technical signs a norm technical signature for fire protection of Galataport Project, which is Turkey's gateway to the world via the sea.

The Galataport Project, which will bring together Istanbul's past and future, aims to host 7 million foreign and 25 million total tourists annually with its 400,000 m2 area and 1.2 km coastline, and is characterized as "Turkey's Gateway to the World via the Sea." Norm Technical Inc., which has 23 years of experience in the industry and continues to lead the sector with many fire projects implemented in compliance with international and local standards, brings accurately resolved products to projects through its fast supply chain network, thanks to its collaborations with reputable brands worldwide. Norm Technical Inc. has been involved in the Tourism Complex & Cruise Port area of the Galataport Project with Fire Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, and Fire Cabinets.

The project, which is located in a unique historical location in Istanbul, hosts a total of 52,000 m2 of shopping-dining areas, 42,000 m2 of office, finance, and banking centers, as well as 2 museums and 1 hotel. As part of the project, UL-listed FM-approved Fire Pumps from Xylem ITT-AC Fire Pump brand, of which we are the representative in the Fire Pump Group, FM-listed UL-approved Sprinkler System from GLOBE Fire Sprinkler Corporation, and Fire Cabinets with the registered brand of Normeks from Norm Technical Inc. were preferred.

The Cruise Port area of the project, which will bring a new breath to Turkish tourism, is designed underground with a special technique that will be applied for the first time in the world, covering a total of 29,000 m2, not only revitalizing cruise tourism in a wide geography from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea but also aiming to boost the country's tourism industry.
